Vertifcal presentation format would work better imo.

Looks very dark on my monitor.

I agree that a portrait format would work better here as both sides of this contain much black with no texture or elements. Maybe a closer look at the main charater would give this more impact. I like the lighting and I see a great composition in this if cropped differently.

Great capture!.....the mood is very nice!
I would crop some at the right....the bright spots at the right border are distracting.
